This is an expedition into the western High Sierra in the Ansel Adams Wilderness. We will be rebuilding a length of trail for outfitters so that their mules and horses can navigate more easily into the backcountry. Our Chaplain will be Fr. Thomas Gardner.

 Here is the Schedule:

• Tuesday July 25: Fly into Fresno California. Transportation to the Sierra Trailhead. Set up a temporary camp for the night.

• Wednesday July 26: Backpack in and establish basecamp

• Thursday July 27 - Tuesday August 1 : Trail Work, Worship, Asceticism, Leadership and Brotherhood.

• Wednesday August 2: Hike Out, return to Fresno.

• Thursday August 3: Return Home

There are 15 slots open for this expedition.

Transportation to and from the airport and trailhead will be provided by the United States Forest Service.

The following is the responsibility of each man:

• Flights in and out of Fresno

• Food while outside the wilderness

• Hotel rooms at Fresno for the evening of the Wednesday August 30

The registration fee for a remote Trek covers food expenses while in the backcountry. All other expenses, including transportation and gear are the responsibility of the participant.
