The Band of Brothers
A special thank you to the “70 Miles for 70 Years” team. These brothers provided support and prayers throughout this journey and I will forever appreciate the time and experiences shared during these past weeks.

Journey Reflections
As we hiked, I contemplated John’s journey and how fascinating it is. Not just the hike but his life in general. The Lord used him because he wanted to be used. He found his mission through relationship with the Lord. I felt incredibly inspired as I had been hiking one day with this man who is 44 years older than me and was worn to the bone, I could only imagine how he felt. We had wonderful conversation as always, intentional and directed toward our faith. We shared struggles and wins. We had a lot of time to just be. It was great. I love spending time with John because I come out wanting to be a better man. To be totally wasted when I die. Used up. His encouragement and perspective is incredible. Thank you John for sharing your wisdom with this punk kid and teaching me about life. I love you and am looking forward to the “80 Miles for 80 Years”!
